Worst place ever! I am in town for a wedding which is tomorrow. The bride went in to pick up the dress yesterday and she hadn't even started on the alterations! She is a joke! Don't waste your money on this place!
I'm glad I didn't look at some of these reviews before going in! She was recommended to me by my daughter's friends and cousin. Lula's has the most beautiful dresses with the largest selection I've seen so far. I went to several bridal shops and left with nothing. Lula was very nice and truthful about how the dresses looked on my daughter instead of just trying to make a sale, and we found several beautiful dresses to choose from for my daughter's prom. We made payments, kept contact with Lula, and the dress was ready when promised. I have another daughter with prom next year so we'll be back!
Please Don't waste your time...Ms Lula is a very nice lady who doesn't keep her WORD!!! she order dress for a big wedding party of 20+ and at the time of the order she told Us that the ladies would get a discount off the dress because of the huge order AND the got her bride dress there, plus the flower girls. She stated at the time of the order that all the alteration are free ..Now we found out that's was a lie ...1st of all when we went to pay the balance for the dress she claim she didn't charge enough..(now that's wrong) then 2nd she told some of the ladies the needed to order bigger sizes not telling them how much the extra cost was...then she order one of the ladies 4 sizes larger and then when the young lady went back to get the alterations She wants to charge $76 fee..But what happen to the free alteration, OK cause the dress had to be remade because she order it way to BIG who fault is that (her fault)..Well being nice is GREAT but being HONEST is more IMPORTANT. Especially when you want to keep a GOOD business name..
Lula opened the store during non-operating hours for a group of young women who were visiting from out of town, so I was able to join in the fun! The selection was amazing and she was very helpful and knowledgeable. I will recommend her to friends and family.
