I walked in and everybody started at me like I was a ghost. No one said hello welcome in. I am assuming because of my race. Finally a got came up and asked did I need any help. I told him no just looking and thanks. But I will never be back. I did not feel welcome.
I just went to Wilson Furniture Store to look for mattresses. I walked in with my 6 month old and neither sales employees even spoke to me, said hello, waved, or anything. They saw me wandering around the store and didn't offer help. I found the section with the beds and tried all 7 mattresses they had in the store, and re-tried the one I liked, and they never even came to that part of the store to see if I needed help. If they had, they would have sold me a mattress. I guess I will take my business elsewhere. As I walked out of the store and passed the employees, they once again never offered help or even spoke to tell me bye. Very disappointed. Especially since I am a collierville resident and wanted to shop locally!
