MY FAMILY RECENTLY EXPERIENCED DEATH OF A LOVED ONE, WHO WAS LIVING OVER 200 MILES AWAY. SEVERAL MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY WANTED TO TRAVEL BUT THEIR VEHICLES WERE NOT UP TO PART. SO I CALLED AVIS OF COLLIERVILLE AND EXPLAINED OUR SITUATION AND IMMEDIATELY THE OWNER, MRS. WHITE GOT US WHAT WE NEEDED TO CARRY A LARGE FAMILY. WE EXPLAINED WHEN WE WERE NEEDING THE VEHICLE AND THIS WAS SHORT NOTICE, BUT MRS. WHITE SEARCHED AND FOUND A VEHICLE THAT WAS SUITABLE FOR THE CAPACITY NEEDED. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD AND IT BEGAN WHEN WE RECEIVED THE KEYS TO A FORD EXPEDITION THAT HAD ALL THE ROOM WE NEEDED. IT WAS FULL OF GAS, CLEAN, AND READY FOR US TO DRIVE OFF THE LOT AT 8 am SHARP. WE DROVE OVER 200 MILES WITHOUT EVEN STOPPING FOR GAS ... AVIS OF COLLIERVILLE WILL MOST DEFINITELY RECEIVE OUR BUSINESS AGAIN... CUSTOMER SERVICE (MARTHA WHITE) CAN'T BE BEAT...
Very bad customer service at this location. Really had a very bad exeprience. The staff are not friendly and make fun of people passing comments.
This is more of an Avis problem not this branch. I twice reserved a car and both times it was not available, but I could upgrade for an extra charge. I believe this is called Bait and Switch. I twice saw people who had cars get turned away telling them they had no cars. Why is Avis saying they do have cars?i will have to think hard to go back to Avis.
