I asked for an invoice so I could have a quote for containers and shipping in writing about a week and a half ago. I got the invoice and kept shopping. I found a company that took credit cards, (I wanted the rewards points and a guarantee on the containers) and purchased the containers from them on 09-19. On 09-21, I get a call from some guy who said he had 2 containers to deliver and wanted me to meet him at 8am and guide him to my property. Great, I've paid the bill, the containers are on their way and this is the guy delivering em. So the containers are placed on site, and the delivery driver didn't have any paperwork at all and said something about a COD. I told him I'd already paid with my Visa and had the receipt at home. The delivery driver said okay and left. End of story right? Wrong. Turns out the containers were shipped from Mid-South Containers. Their sales guy Brian got a hold of me and started trying to get me to pay the bill after the containers were delivered with zero paperwork. Not even a delivery signature. I didn't have any idea who MidSouth was and wound up calling the company I bought the containers from. We quickly figured out what happened. So now, I've got 2 containers on my property that have to be removed and a pad that has to be re-leveled and cherted and 2 containers that aren't in the right place that have to be moved. MidSouth, I expect you to pay for the damages before I let you guys back on to my property to pick them up. In the future, try and make sure that people actually want your stuff before you ship it.
