Can I please give a minus 5 star review? Can someone please explain why we need social security numbers if they are irrelevant? I just tried to cash a savings bond (purchased 32 years ago) in MY bank. I've had an account with them for over 30 years. But I have remarried since it was issued and THEY WOULD NOT CASH IT. It was actually issued by this bank (when they were called Boatman's). And I have cashed them there before. The cashier even knew me....but her supervisor said she couldn't; that I had to drive to downtown Memphis and have it reissued in my married name. Nothing changed but the last name. Worst banking experience of my life. And I've had some bad ones. The one star is ONLY for my actual cashier who would have cashed it had she not gotten in trouble for this ridiculous policy. (notice the date of my review.....I needed it to pay for my husband's Christmas present).
When you visit a bank, especially during the holiday season, and the manager and her staff helps you with your queries, is constantly by the door greeting customers and helping senior citizens while ensuring your work gets done, you know you've chosen the right bank. Please keep up the good work
The manager Yuly is rude and unprofessional, claiming to go above and beyond to cash a check drawn from their own bank. Now I remember why I stopped banking here years ago.
Service is consistently slow. Need more tellers
Bank of America is known for it's ridged big bank policies. Not only will you have to deal with those ridged policies at this branch but be prepared for long lines and inflexible/insincere management. Try First TN or Renasant Bank for a better customer experience.
